Have been going here for years and was nervous to go when I found out the hygienist i loved had moved offices. However Elise was amazing today and made me feel comfortable and did an amazing job on my cleaning. Wendi at the front desk is always welcoming and Dr Turek is amazing as well. An awesome team.
The problem with this facility, don't have any family or medical issues and put off your visits or they will drop you as a patient. During Covid my job became overbearing and other issues came up and could not get into the office so, I was dropped as a patient. I didn't miss appointments, I just struggled making appointments.
Moving is always a whirlwind, and as a military family, finding a practice that accepts our insurance and makes us feel at home is a huge relief. Driftwood Dental Studio came highly recommended, and they truly lived up to the praise. I brought my two daughters (ages 9 and 12) for their first visit today. We’re still learning the traffic from Holly Ridge to Wilmington, so we showed up two hours early—right during their lunch! Have been a long standing patient with these people. Love the dentist and the hygenist i see. However the staff really disappointed me today. Spoke with Irene who let me know they changed policy 3/30 I called today 3/31 and was basically told i’m SOL. She was not helpful and sounded rather excited to give bad news to me. Not a good look at all. This office should be able to use better judgment for individual situations. Extremely disappointed in this business. Would give 0 stars on my interaction with Irene if possible.
The Driftwood dentists and staff are wonderful. My husband and I have been seeing them for years. One day, I chipped two teeth, and they saw me within an hour of my call. They're the best!
