Very quiet. Easy to talk. Great service. We had the figgy pizza. Detroit style crust. Very pleased
Excellent pizza spot, the only improvement would be not stacking the pizza on top of each other next time, that was an odd practice for a pizza place. Unfortunately, I did end up tossing these cause it all fused together into a gooey, saucy mess That became hard to eat on the go. I highly recommend this place though, I should’ve said something in the moment but I had assumed there was a parchment paper or something in between them. Our “pizza club” has visited 25 pizza places around Iowa for the past three years, ranking each one. Tonight, at Driftless, we evaluated #26…it is now the top-ranked pizza place for this group of amateur foodies. Our server, Julie, was fantastic, the environment was ideal and the hot and honey (or whatever it was as called) was the best specialty pizza we’ve ever tasted (it bumped the previous #1 chicken cordon bleu off the throne). Well done and we plan many returns!
Went in with a friend to get a togo pizza , the bartender on shift Dani doesn’t like me and decided to leave a full bar and come onto the floor to confront me about a situation in my personal life, she yelled in my face and i sat there speechless about how unprofessional it is to come up to a customer while on the clock and then proceed to go back behind the bar and talk bad about me to her bar customers, as a bartender myself i would never think it’s okay to confront a customer about personal problems wether i liked them or... read more
