THE FLYS ARE UNBELIEVABLE! Even with 3 fans on our table INSIDE the restaurant our table and food were covered with them. Whoever thought it was a good idea to design a bar to service both the inside of the restaurant and outside on the pavilion on the Potomac River was an idiot. Flies were coming in through the hugh service area to the outside. We would have been better off out there. I really wanted to love this restaurant. Worst service ever lol
My husband and I tried the (new) Drift this weekend and the food was delicious! The service was so great and the prices were so comparable to all other restaurants. We will definitely be back! 😋
My husband and I went to Drift for our anniversary dinner on Aug 8. When we got there no one acknowledged us for about 5 minutes. When someone did and we requested outside seating, she looked around and came back and said that there was no outside seating available. Absolutely not true. I pointed out 2 tables that were empty. (they were not that busy at all) She said "Oh, I didn't see those". She seated us and got us a carafe of water and two glasses of ice. OK so far.
