My husband had a sty that developed into a chalazion on his lower eyelid six months ago. It constantly itches and when it swells it puts pressure on his eye. After waiting for months he finally got in to see Dr. Filaferro. In less than a minute the doctor 100% dismissed it - and told my husband to put warm compresses on it….you mean what he has obviously been doing for months??? Tempted by no wait time, I ignored his poor google reviews. During the 5-minute visit I mostly saw the side or the back of Dr. Filaferro's head. The eye doctor who doesn't make eye contact, asks no questions and is dismissive. I said: "My mother and grandmother lost their vision." Dr.Filaferro responded: "Unless it's your close relative like a father or mother it doesn't matter." Apparently, he wasn't listening. Dr Filaferro was laid off from this office. You no longer have to struggle with his attitude, lack of timely care or poor interpersonal skills.
