My daughter was married in September. I tried on so many dresses! I really needed a Miracle! When I arrived at Dresses and More I was greeting with a wonderful staff and the Owner is Amazing. I told them what I wanted and what I didn't want. Although I was the Mother of the Bride, I did not want to look frumpy.. They found the perfect dress for me and I was so happy.!! One week ago, 4 of us set out to find a ballgown for my granddaughter's Sweet Sixteen. I insisted we try a place I heard about in Matawan so we drove from Hillsborough and Mendham- The outside of the store did not impress- it looked so small- but do not let it fool you- it was crammed with all types of gowns and my grandaughter chose about 8 different ballgowns to try on- looked great in all of them - chose the one she loved the best- also bought a beautiful tiara and jewelry there as well- the owner was super nice as was he... read more
I just had an amazing experience. Kristen went out of her way to help me. She was so helpful but mostly she was not pushy. She genuinely wanted to help me find something to my liking. Then Judy, the owner, jumped right in and gave me suggestions. They were both so helpful, pleasant and made the experience great. The price of the dresses are less than 1/2 what you would pay at any other store. What a great place!
I love this place--I have gotten all kinds of dresses here, from stage costumes for my female barbershop quartet to dresses for attending weddings to dresses for formal balls on cruises. The people working there are incredibly helpful--they will order your size if they don't have it in stock, and will look around the store while you are trying things on to find other dresses that might be your style, or when shopping for the quartet will find all of the sizes in the same dress for 4 very different people!
