I tested barbecue place but if I can smell it from my car. They met that requirement. I got there a couple minutes before they opened and some things were not prepared yet. They have some massive smokers. It’s an outside environment and it’s Texas barbecue so it’s dry rub everything I got the pool chicken that was quite tasty and I got the mac & cheese, which I think could be creamier. They have lots of plans to make additional items I’m hoping for kolaches and Bodon.
Tremendous BBQ
This first Friday a friend invited me over to Channel RVA on Broad St, who were hosting their inaugural artwalk ft Dress Blue BBQ. This evening was a fantastic collision of friendly familiar faces, discussions of SEO and artificial intelligence dark arts — some REALLY GOOD stuff coming from this think tank in RVA yet what’s truly truly lingering in memory is the haunting smoky taste of that brisket on my palate.
