This guy’s a straight-up scammer. Told me one price on WhatsApp, then changed it when we met. Said I’d get my deposit back right away, but now he’s ghosting me and giving me the runaround. Even turned off the car remotely when I dropped it off. I wouldn’t rent from him again even if it was free.
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS GUY! First he quoted me $350 for the week on WhatsApp, but when I got there, he changed the price to $450. I still took the car because I needed it for deliveries. When I returned the car, he refused to give me back my deposit, even though he said in messages I’d get it immediately. He just kept making excuses and even remotely turned the car off while I was still near it. Scammy behavior — stay away!
