Cold in there. We went to Drescher's on 1/12/12 At 5 pm we were the only customers there. I asked for the warmest spot and was offered a booth. It was very cold in there. I got up and read the thermostat and it read 68F. I asked for it to be made warmer and the hostess said the man would be back in 10 minutes and only he could do it. We said we were leaving. We went next door to the SIgnature and ate there. It was warm in the Signature.
If you're there (at night) before a show at the Palace you can park in the lots on Kendrick Ave. It's a 4 minute walk & they don't ticket or tow after hours.
Great spot for lunch.
ook my wife and in-laws there for dinner on a Friday night. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The appetizers were good. The drinks were okay. Both my in-laws were not able to get their first choice of drinks because the bar was either out of stock or didnt carry it. However, the main courses were disappointing - especially for the money I paid. The taste was just not what youd expect for a restaurant that is a fixture in Waterbury. Best burger in town: The Harrison
German Fare Drescher's Restaurant features good food in a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is attentive but the restaurant can be noisy when live entertainment is featured in the lounge. Parking downtown Waterbury is always a problem but the restaurant is worth the trouble to get to.
