The motel is under new management, and is in process of renovations. Our room was clean, nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfy. There was new landscaping. The new management was working hard inside and out to maintain and improve the motel. They were extremely nice, even apologized for the previous condition, promising further improvement. Being right next to the highway, there was little road noise inside the room. We plan to stay there on our trip home.
This was the nastiness room I've stayed in in my life. I don't usually leave a review, but maybe this one will save someone having the same experience as me. The room looked like it was used for a porn flick. The comforter had large yellow stains. The chair was atrocious and looked like it belonged in the dump. The staff was rude and unaccomodating . No iron , ironing board, or hairdryer. We had to go to Walmart to get those things. To understand, look at the following pictures.
