My dreams came true here. We stopped by around 3 pm for a late lunch. When we sat down the waitress said they didn't have ribs ready yet. I was crestfallen. Crushed. Bereft. And several other cool words. But then....behold! The man cooking the ribs in the open fire pit exclaimed "10 to 15 minutes and the ribs will be done." I was excited! Ebullient! Gleeful! Jocular! I ate here a couple years ago and hated it, but decided to go back today and I am in love. We got the smokehouse quesadilla, ribs, bbq baker, and banana pudding and everything was so amazing! The atmosphere is very nice and clean, and service was great. I got to speak to the general manager and she was so kind and lovely, as well as our server, Landon. We’ll definitely be back.
There was 15-20 tables open and telling people 1hr to 2hr wait on seating and food. They said got backed up. And over 2 hr. Later still sad an hour.
Dreamland BBQ is indeed a DREAM. Our server (Brittany) was so SWEET, like the sweet tea they got. That’s always the right vibe to start a dining experience. This bbq spot had the best chicken quesadilla I’ve ever had. It may ruin chicken quesadillas for you and you’ll be questioning what you’ve eaten all these years. My friends got the ribs and also said it was the best they’ve had. And DONT LET ME START ABOUT THE BANANA PUDDING. Indeed best in town or maybe state who knows
