I am Sam William's wife. As an update to Sam's review, Johnny Davies told us via email that he will not be returning any of our money ($70,000). We had to get our Mercedes dealership involved to get the van back, as he was taking weeks at a time to respond to our request to pick up the van (after he told us he was not going to finish the build). This has significantly impacted us this year, financially and mentally.
We hired Dream Vans for a $90,000 custom van conversion. This was a massive purchase for us so we had been talking to Johnny Davies for many months. We paid $70,000 in two split payments. Our second payment was two weeks late — but it was accepted without issue and work began. Three weeks after accepting our payment, we were told the project would be delayed by over two months due to staff summer vacations.
