The service has been great each I've been here, but the food is so hit or miss. The Alfredo was truly terrible, the sauce was so thin and runny and had absolutely no flavor other than black pepper.
Today was the first time I've been to Dave's Dream and let disappointed. We were a party of four and were all let down by our meals.
The only issue we had was that, as folks who live on the Mason-Dixon line, we like our sweet tea to be very, very sweet, and, of course, folks this far north of that line prefer their sweet tea significantly less sweet. But adding sweetness is far easier than removing it, and no point making it too sweet for locals, so we just added sugar! The flounder was excellent. The turkey I got was amazing. The apple crisp was to die for. We'll be back next time we're up Altoona way, so have the sugar rack well stocked for us, please!
