Really can’t say enough good things about this place and the owner Gustav. It is somewhat of a hole in the wall around Point Richmond, but this has been the best experience I have had it at a mechanic in my life. After shopping around and visiting all of these “honest” mechanics that I was finding from reviews, I am very happy that I ended up stumbling across this place. Took a vehicle here for a pre purchase inspection for an honest 3rd party opinion and gustav gave us exactly what we needed. Very knowledgeable, fair price, even took us all (salesman included) on a scenic test drive. I’ll be going out of my way to come back here for any future needs
After a bad accident and dealing with a shady auto body man, bringing my car to Gustav was probably the best decision I could’ve made. He’s honest, reliable and easygoing. Gustav will get the job done! And even better, get it done right! As a busy mother I heavily rely on my vehicle and Gustav was amazing and empathized with my situation. Wow, what a wonderful asset in Point Richmond! Gustav runs a clean shop, is honest and upfront about pricing, hardworking, easy to communicate with, and goes the extra mile (sorry for the pun) to be sure you're taken care of. This is the only shop I'll be taking my car to moving forward!
