The people here are so friendly, and also I wanted to say thank you to the people who work here and the people who volunteer here thank you for your time that you help us in this community.
I just arrived here at this shelter today and it's sad the staff is rude , uncaring and extremely unprofessional i see why they have so many negative reviews. I'm sitting here watching 3 workers do absolutely nothing for the past 3 hours except gossip they gave us a a small bowl of beans with a piece of cornbread some milk and a apple. I wanna take a shower due to my period being on they don't care how is this place still open all this happened on my first day and it smells terrible in this building.
First the mattress that I slept on was very THIN cold air running in the winter time and dressing in layers INSIDE a facility is in humane The food portions was SMALL so small that a 5 year old would want seconds Bedbugs in there The morning cook has a huge attitude problem. She talks to the people there any and all kinds of way. The moment you match her energy she get mad and play victim and get extremely loud with people. Christy need to check that.
