It really doesn’t get any better than Dr. Draper and his amazing staff. From the moment we walked in there we experienced incredibly helpful positive and knowledgable staff. Dr. Draper gave us an impressive amount of time to go over the surgery details in his presentation and what would happen, answering all questions and never making us feel rushed. I normally don't post reviews almost 2 1/2 years later, but I had to come back and give credit where it's due. Our big boy Osler had OCD surgery in his shoulder by Dr. Draper and the team in summer of 2022, and our primary vet is still amazed at his recovery and his mobility. It's as if he never had an issue at all! His post-op recovery was also seamless and he was back to walking pain-free and normal almost immediately after surgery. I cannot say enough good things about Dr.Draper and his team. They have gone above and beyond for my girl. Dr. Draper takes the time to explain and answer any questions I may have. He will do anything he is able to, to make sure your animal has the best quality of life. My dog actually gets excited to see the staff here. Thank you all, without your clinic I can’t imagine where we would be with our Daisy girl. Also, the Daisy cast they did today is just adorable 🥰 Nova Scotia is lucky to have this clinic.
Our giant breed Newfoundland, Newton, tore his CCL at eleven months in the wet snow spinning to chase a ball. Unfortunately their growth plates don't close until the two year mark, we had to wait a year for TPLO surgery. As pretty much expected the other leg took up his growing body and weight and TPLO surgery was required for it at about the two year mark.
