Editing to add, as I'm unable to reply to the owner's reply here... he did not offer a return to rework the pieces when we spoke to him over the phone. After this experience we certainly wouldn't want to anyways. I assumed this "class" would be held in an actual studio - we were asked to come to a shop located in the basement of the owner's home. It was dark, cluttered, and uncomfortable given that you had to walk through the owner's house to use a bathroom. When I arrived, he also made an inappropriate comment that I "looke... read more

First of all, the studio is part of his house which I found odd, but that’s the least of it. I came with a group of my friends for my birthday. I thought the guy was nice and he gave us a lot of feedback to help us with our glass artwork. I thought since we followed his advice and instructions, that the designs would come out nicely. I was very wrong. The pieces did not fuse together how he said. I called to address it with him and he refused to take responsibility and said if I wanted to send it back I would have to pay the... read more
