Good food bad service – The food was great, we had a variety of dishes from the dreaming roast duck to the coconut shrimp, unfortunately we waited 1 1/2 hr for an 8:30 reservation. It weren't for the long wait, I would have given the restaurant a better overall score. We were also there late enough to see the restaurant turn into a after hours club.
Asian Influenced Hot Spot... – Dragonfly was great. I was there in June and it was very crowded early on a Friday night. The couches in the back are the place to be if you can be lucky enough to sit down. Nice Asian feel with the beautiful people to go along with it.
Worth Every Penny – This is some of the most delicious Chinese cuisine I have every tasted. It hits your tongue and your taste buds go WOW! It is spendy but worth every last cent.
Quality Chinese! – The ambience is great and the food is marvelous. I think it would be nice to take a significant other or a nice dinner date with a good friend. I took my chinese friend here and she loved it!
Great ambience, not so great food – This is a great nightlife scene, the ambience and decor are great - just don't go here for the food. Definitely NOT the best Chinese food in Chicago.
excellent mandarin food!! – this is some of the best mandarin food i've ever had in chicago ... the prices are VERY reasonable and the location is very convenient. the hostesses were very accomodating.
A different type of place to go – DragonFly was very nice. The service was great as well as the food.
sweet and sour – dragonfly has the ambience that is straight out of glamorous lifestyle movies. from the beautiful employees to the exotic dishes available, this resturant/club provides for an environment that comforts and excites at the same time. definitely a place for the young and beautiful people.
I LOVE IT! – I love this restaurant. I'll go as far as saying that this is the best chinese food I've had in Chicago. It has the authenticity of Chinatown, but you also get the upscale ambiance, service, and quality and breath taking presentation. The food was delicious and the open air dining was refreshing.
