Worst Service I've Ever Experienced! – I wish I could be writing a review about the food...unfortunately we never got to try it! A group of 5 friends and I tried this place out on Saturday night (maybe we were the "large group of unhappy people" mentioned in the next review!). After 20 mins of waiting for someone to approach our table, then bugging two other servers to PLEASE get someone to take our drink order, we still got nothing. I finally spoke to a manager after another 20 minutes, who turned and spoke to an employee i... read more

WORST experience ever! – I had made a reservation on the Thursday before we were going for a party of 7 to be seated at 8:30. I received a call on Friday confirming the reservation so they knew we were coming and to be expecting us. On Saturday night when we arrived, we checked in with the hostess at 8:15 and told them we were here. I was asked if I had a reservation because the couldn't find it but said they would seat us soon. 45 minutes later, a large group of unhappy people came walking downstairs and straight to the hos... read more

SERIOUSLY BAD! – For those that have written a good review on this place,"Are you kidding?" Our reservation was for 8:30pm, we were seated after 9pm, after seeing another party of people storm out in disgust. Service does not exist here, one waitress serving upstairs and the downstairs area. Meaning, 45 minutes just to be asked for a drink. An hour to get your food, and when it arrives its stone cold. Our party was 7 people and all food was cold. We asked for the manager, "a 12 year old looking gentleman" and he said he woul... read more

Good to be FLY! – This place is awesome! The food is always great and the service even better! I saw some of the bad reviews and I justed wanted to say, being in the service industry, no matter who you are your always going to have an off-night. What seperates the good from the bad is if your consistently off. As a repeat customer of this great Chinese restaurant let me just say to everyone this is not the case at D'Fly. As a family owned buiseness that is exactly how everyone is treated....Like Family.

Avoid evening lounge – I went to Dragonfly for the evening lounge/dancing scene so cannot really comment on food?but I CAN comment on everything else. I would have to say the place had POOR service and unprofessional staff. I took the chance to plan a big birthday bash at Dragonfly. I found out about their special "birthday packages" ahead of time and even talked to a manager. However, when I arrived that night, all the bartenders acted as if they had no idea what I was talking about. They said the specific manager I had tal... read more

Swanky Gold Coast transplant adds regional Chinese to the menu on Randolph Street's restaurant row. – The Scene Trendy West Loop diners are discovering this lounge-y, bi-level space on Randolph Street, whose straightforward dining scene gives way to a nightclub atmosphere on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights. Decor highlights include a sweeping staircase and two-story wine display, rich red walls and light fixtures, and gold foo dogs at the door. The Food For authenticity, a Chinese cooking crew creates high-quality, pri... read more

Horrible! – Had a reservation at 8, didn't get seated until 9, cold entrees came out before the appetizers! Need I say more? Very rude management. I don't understand how this restaurant can stay open.

Best Chinese Food & Best Young Crowd – I had dinner at Dragonfly last Saturday with a group of about 20 for my friend's birthday. Not only did we have a blast, but the food was outstanding. And coming from someone who is Chinese, I KNOW good chinese food! The Dreaming Roast Duck, Whole Steamed Yellow Tail Snapper and the Chow Fun are as authentic as anyone can get! The staff attended all our needs and even bought our group a bottle of Moet Champagne! That was really unexpected, but very appreciated! The only problem was that... read more

Hated it – A group of us went to dinner here for a friend's birthday. First, when we got there, we mentioned we were there for the birthday party and the hostess didn't even acknowledge us. We eventually wandered around the restaurant until we found our seats. In addition, there were not enough seats set per our reservations. Our waiter was extremely rude and unattentive to our requests. We had to ask for water 3 times and finally got it from another waiter. The appetizers were probably the best part of the menu. Entrees tas... read more
