Wonderful doctor. So understanding and helpful. My surgery went perfectly and my recovery was smooth. He heard what I was asking for and did exactly what I wanted. Lovely man. And his office staff is fantastic too.
I had my first appointment with Dr. Abouzeid a couple days ago. I came in with something specific to talk about. He was honest with me, presented all alternative options and talked about the risks and realities of each, but I still felt heard. I really appreciate that he does his due diligence to make sure you have ALL the info you need and tell you what he thinks is best, but still is willing to go with what a patient wants (within reason!), even if it's not necessarily what he would do first. I am forever grateful for the care, compassion and skill of this truly wonderful Doctor. After a very terrifying diagnoses in emergency late one night, I came to him for a followup appointment in a state of panic. He patiently explained everything that was likely going on with my health, what to expect going forward (ie surgical biopsy test, etc) and he reassured me that everything would be ok.
