My Dad was dying of colon cancer & starving to death. No one would put a G-tube in him. We pleaded with Dr. Mirza, and he was the only doctor willing to help my Dad even though my dad was not his patient! Though my Dad had little time left, Dr Mirza showed compassion to him and my family and made my Dad more comfortable in his last days! He was kind & patient!
We had not been able to determine what was wrong with my mother and he was able to make a diagnosis and help her. He has a good bedside manner, is compassionate and kind, and professional and knowledgeable.
Very unprofessional and dismissive. Our daughter had been losing weight, unintentionally since September and has lost nearly 100 pounds. She was referred to Dr Mirza for a colonoscopy to rule out cancer or anything else. He apparently can diagnose depression through a colonoscopy. What a break through in psychiatry! Would not ever recommend him to my friends and family.
My husband had been dealing with unexplained abdominal pain since April of 2020. He had a colonoscopy, ct scan, blood work and no explanation. Finally he was sent to this dr. He was given an appointment almost 2 months out. That appointment turned out to be a phone appointment, where they said they needed to see him. Duh. Another month and he's finally seen. Kind and caring physician. Colonoscopy painless.
I would stay away from this Dr and his office if you don't want to die waiting. My PCP schedule my appointment and t he earliest they could get me in was 6 weeks. The day of my appointment I did not even meet the Dr. I was assessed by his assistant and scheduled for an endosopy the following week. The Dr I was scheduled to see was not available to do the procedure so I was left with another doctor in his practice. I was then schedule to get the results 5 weeks later.
