Dr. Halversen is very knowledgeable and caring. He has a unique way of partnering with patients to find the best and appropriate solution. Every time I walk away from an appointment, I have new knowledge, a new solution and encouragement. He listens, then collaborates. He has advised me on weight loss, exercise, foods, sleep as well as pharmaceuticals. He provides excellent referrals. He is much in demand, but always takes the time to help and educate in any way he can.
Dr. Halverson is a wonderful doctor who will speak honestly about options to address issues and will not give up until a solution is found. However, his staff routinely withhold prescriptions for a wide variety of reasons including trying to schedule a wellness visit before the end of the year. Withholding prescriptions from patients that rely on these medications without any reason explained, any follow up, or any explanation is something that even Dr. Halverson agrees should not happen. Rude and condescending. You deserve better. Look onward.
In my first and last visit with Dr. Halverson he was condescending, rushed and seemed to care less about anything I had to say. I tried to show him my previous MRI's regarding my back but he didn't seem to even want to look at them. I see Emily Kuster now. She is great. P.S. Dr. Halversen is the best doctor I’ve ever had! He’s compassionate, explains everything in a way we can understand, he takes as long as I need talking to him, never rushes me, and goes the extra mile for his patients. And the staff are very nice and always willing to help!
