I had a deeply upsetting experience with this psychiatrist during one of the most vulnerable times in my life. Instead of receiving support, I was met with a lack of empathy and a cold, dismissive attitude that made me feel even worse. Their demeanor was not only unprofessional but also emotionally harmful — pushing me into a deeper spiral rather than helping me out of one. Dr White, in my opinion, is not suited to a young audience or modern approach. My personal recommendation is that you do NOT visit this doctor. 1. Her office environment and welcome is not comfortable, friendly or warm (which I believe is important when people are going for mental health help and are possibly feeling unsettled). Negative fifty stars. Told her 3 weeks into my first ever treatment plan with SSRI it wasn’t for me. She told me give it six weeks to take effect, and if I’m still not happy she would take me off. $270/visit just to gossip about my life for an hour and be told “see you in 3 weeks”. FaceTime only, never face to face. She told me on 12 September if I still want to get off it, that she would prefer to supervise me during that time. $270 to be told to wait. Yvonne has always made her and her years of experience available to me and for that i'm eternally grateful. It was very much a journey and i'm all the better for the patience and experience. Thank you Dr White.
I saw her over 30 years ago. I can’t believe she’s still consulting. I’ve yet to meet a decent phsychiatrist, I guess she must have something.
