Was scheduled for procedure in September had to cancel because I was in the hospital for heart issues. Rescheduled procedure for Nov. 28th, ended up having to cancel that appointment because I suffered a heart attack and had to have heart catheterization done before any other procedures could be done. I called the office to let them know I had to cancel and was told that I would be charged for cancelling because Dr. Rao was upset that people were cancelling and being no shows. i saw dr rao for the first time in march of 2024. he spent shockingly little time with me on our first visit and was super rushed, leaving very little time for me to say what I thought was important. The second visit, I timed how long he spent with me after waiting in the waiting room for over 2 hrs. 4 min 56 seconds in the room. I love Dr. Rao but the front office staff is horrible!!! They are rude, no compassion and poor language and professionalism. I hate calling their for anything and when you do you won’t get a return call back for about 2 weeks after your call.
They never answer the phone. And when they do answer they are very rude. Appointments are 2 to 3 months out and they do poorly with reminders.
Very poor customer service and communication. When you call this office you can not get anyone on the phone or if you leave messages they do not return calls to schedule appts. They never seem to get the referral faxed over from a provider even though there is confirmation that it has been faxed 2-3 times and then you wait for weeks for a call from the scheduler to get you scheduled
