Dr. Yam Ayesu-Offei is a great doctor. Whenever I call the office, they always make sure to get me in right away, which I really appreciate. The staff is very kind and welcoming, and the doctor is always very thorough during my visits. I feel well taken care of and would definitely recommend this office to others.
Worst experience ever. My mom goes here, and the doctor doesn’t explain anything to her. He barely makes eye contact during her appointments and sends her out in about five minutes even though she waits a month for each appointment and has multiple concerns she wants to discuss. As a physician, you should take the time to speak kindly with your patients, listen to their health issues, and make them feel heard and supported. Rushing someone out within minutes is unacceptable, especially when they rely on you for care.
I’ve been going to this Dr. for years. My family also. The Dr. himself isn’t the problem, it’s his staff. NEVER in my life have I experienced what I experienced today from any other human being. The front desk lady was so rude. They will literally let you die. They told me the next appointment for me was almost a month out. I simply tried to explain that I can’t stop my depression medication abruptly.
