I would strongly caution parents of newborns about relying on advice from this practice. We contacted the clinic to clarify guidance about the Adacel vaccine for a family member who would be around our two week old baby. We were told by the treating Dr Wright, protection lasts 10 years with no discussion that the pertussis component is widely known to wane much earlier, often around 4 to 6 years, which is highly relevant when a newborn is involved.
