Dr. Dec is an incredibly talented, compassionate and humble surgeon who took great care of my mother when she underwent natural tissue reconstruction as part of her breast cancer treatment. He made us all feel extremely comfortable and with her reconstructed breasts she actually looks better than she did before her surgery. My family is forever grateful for his skill and expertise, which combined with his soft spoken demeanor truly sets him apart from other surgeons I have met.
I had a cyst removed with Dr. Dec last year—one that had become badly infected and turned into a two-month ordeal, with two strains of bacteria and a nasty case of cellulitis that almost landed me in hospital (all because of bad treatment at the beginning . . . .). The dermatologist who fixed me filled me with dire warnings about how awful the surgery would be, requiring general anaesthesia and resulting in a huge scar.
