Dr. McCrary and his team are outstanding. I base this on his surgical expertise as well as his excellent knowledge of skin cancer and other general dermatological issues. I respect his skill level so much that I had my husband see him, who is a melanoma survivor. His attention to detail is very reassuring when needing to watch for skin cancer in a loved one.
When the doctor barely checks you out and say you got something going for you that we don't ( he’s white) and black people don't or rarely get skin cancer. We get everything everyone else gets. Not one time did he ask about my husband's family history. My husband is a black man with a fair complexion and freckles that worked thousands of hours in the South Carolina sun. This explains why so many people of color die from preventable diseases.
Had severe rash issue after initial quarantine which only got worse. Sought treatment from July 2020 through January of 2021 from various doctors including two PA derms. Dr. McCrary is running multiple tests after initial visit. My hands were so bad I couldn't even type (writer), but after ONE visit he prescribed a treatment which is working. Should you need a doctor that is awesome, he is your provider. Thank you Dr. McCrary for choosing dermatology as your calling.
