I had been having lower back pain problems for years. MRI scans of the thoracic spine and the lumbar spine indicated that arthritis was causing the problem. Numerous steroid injections over the years, more MRI's, physical therapy and nerve ablation - none alleviated the pain. Dr. Kemp is nothing short of sensational. I came to him with excruciating pain due to a degenerated lumbar disc, it was so bad that I was unable to walk and feel my legs. My wife and I met with Dr. Kemp who recommend that I quickly get an emergency surgery. After weighing our options, I also spoke to my sister who is a surgeon. The care, compassion and expertise were great and resulted in a fully successful outcome. I have had surgery’s at VSI for other back issues, all successful with excellent care and results.
