Dr. Resnick advocated for me to get the emergent surgery that I needed. I truly believe that had he not been so thorough and caring, I could have declined greatly and my life could be much different today. He was compassionate, patient and intentional and most importantly he was human. I am wildly grateful to have received his care. He is an asset to YRMC and more physicians like him are needed in this area.
I wish I could give this doctor negative stars. I came in with oxygen levels at 84 and shortness of breath, yet after four hours, I was told it wasn’t an emergency and that I just needed to follow up with my primary care doctor. He said I wasn’t allowed to stay because my condition wasn’t emergent. His PA was equally dismissive and rude. When I asked if the hospital could at least monitor me and my oxygen levels while I slept, he said the hospital couldn’t help me. Seriously? Still awaiting prescriptions to be faxed from ER visit on Saturday. No one at YRMC was very helpful. Played phone tag. This serves to raise my heartbeat significantly.
Worst, poor excuse for a doctor, ever. He doesn't deserve not even one star, but you can't rate him a big fat zero. I went to the ER with crippling pain in my side and back. Bad experience
