Dr. Fecht is amazing. He found my cancer in 2013 and he’s been a huge part of my Cancer Team. He even remembers the room my wife was waiting in. She said he was very professional and answered her questions. I see him a couple times a year and he answers all my questions even if it’s a procedure he didn’t perform.
I came to be Dr. Fechts patient after my previous GI doctor failed to come up with a treatment plan after six months of illness. When I came to Dr. Fecht I brought all of my test results, medical imaging, biopsy findings, and notes from previous physicians. I left that day not only with a simple and straight forward treatment plan, but a less severe diagnosis (which I was hoping for as I believed I was misdiagnosed to begin with). I recommend reading Dr. Fecht's reviews on vitals.com and healthgrades.com before selecting him as your gastroenterologist. Unfortunately, I ended up as a patient of Dr. Fecht by default when his colleague retired. His colleague was compassionate and understanding of my condition. Dr. Fecht has proven himself to be the opposite. One of the first times I met Dr. Fecht, he told me I needed to relax because I was "high strung" which seemed to imply my condition was due to my inability to simply relax.
