I’m an athletic trainer and I work in an orthopedic doctor’s office. I’ve been working in the sports medicine field for 10 years so I have experience in the area. My grandfather went to see Dr.Barrish. He completely wrote him off. I’m assuming because of my grandfather’s age and medical history, he couldn’t be bothered to do an actual exam. I have had several visits with Dr. Barrish and he is always kind and.compassionate.
What impressed me the most was at my first appointment he walked in the room, greeted me by name, knew why I was there, the Dr that referred me and my history. Very few doctors take the time to make you feel like a person, not a number anymore, so this impressed me. He listened to me and agreed with my reluctance to go through more of the same procedures that I did not benefit from. He suggested something different and explained it in a way I easily understood. He is kind, caring and patient focused. I highly recommend him.
