Of the 3 different neurological specialists in the area of Spokane WA Dr. Bender is the all time worst and most awful way for me to get helped with a seizure disorder that I was not in any way ever explained what was going on to cause me to get these seizures I'd have multiple times throughout my time with him making me feel like a rat for experimental purposes. Heard he is retired, hoping it's true!! Saw him several years ago. He said weight lose would fix my headaches...lost 180 pounds. Headaches still here!! Thank God I stopped seeing and found a REAL DOCTOR or I would be dead!!
He fought for my mom to have a shunt put in now she can walk again and remember again now she has hope and a better quality of life. He has now retired and is missed.

The staff was professional and really made me feel welcome. Dr. Bender listened to my symptoms and was clear and precise about what medications he was prescribing and why. I highly recommend him.
