I had Hiatal Hernia surgery performed by Dr. Hooks. I had put it off for years because I was too scared to have surgery. During my consult he definitely put my mind at ease. He answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. Surgery went great. Any post op pain was addressed. Dr. Hooks and his nurses were always available to answer question during my recovery. I no longer suffer the way I did My quality of life is so much better. :-)
I had a great experience with Dr Hooks and my surgery. My appendix had ruptured and he did a great job. They did robotic surgery which had little down time. Great attention to my needs!
I had surgery done by Dr. Hooks in 2020. He is a consummate professional and incredibly thorough.
Do not go to this surgeon. Went for a consultation and instead of discussing options he told me do nothing and live with my hernia until I can’t handle the pain. Why would anyone wait to resolve an issue? Never asked if I had any concerns or questions just wanted to rush me out his office after making me wait 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time.
