I went to this place years back for cleaning. They told me that; I have to do X-ray first after I got there. I told him I have a recent X-ray that I can bring to them. I just needed the clean up. I gave all the possible excuses which didn’t made sense. After they confirmed with my insurance everything would be covered up.All I had to pay is $40 after the insurance. This place does very bad business. I messed up even going here at all. My very first appointment they did a consultation and NO CLEANING, made me come back a week later just for a cleaning. After the initial appointment, they made me schedule about 5 very unnecessary appointments because they told me I had about 5/6 cavities and they wouldn’t do the ones on the same side of the mouth at the same time. Dr Rockson is the best dentist I've found in the area. He does good work, has never tried the sleazy upsells, and has a nice office with pleasant staff. I recommend him highly. I've had other dentists do bad work that he ended up fixing for me.
Stay away! A few years ago I went to Dr Rockson for teeth whitening. I had to schedule a regular appointment before to ensure my teeth can handle the whitening procedure. At that appointment he said I had one small cavity that would need to be filled before whitening. I thought it was a little odd because I went to my regular dentist weeks prior and I was ok.
