Due to moving back home, I realized Dr. Beck would not have access to my medical records. I brought in my latest MRI, an image of my ulcer (both were ignored), and the last diagnosis made by an ER, which he glomed onto. Instead of looking to see why I was diagnosed with cauda equina and assisting me in finding out if it was accurate, he told me I couldn't have been diagnosed with the condition because I would have been in immediate surgery. And he would have been right, IF the ER had a surgeon..
Dr. Beck only wants healthy patients. From the first visit, he spent most of the time telling me why I should find another PCP. He claimed to be Old School but seems to care more about his time than the life of his patients...at least the life of this patient. As my illness became more complicated, he decided to withdraw as my PCP. Unless you are young and have no health problems, I do not recommend this doctor.
Love DR Beck and staff. I have been going there over 10 years.
