I dread visiting the dentist. My entire life my god father was my dentist. Coming here was a breeze the front desk staff Pat is a gem. From our first interaction scheduling the appointment to giving me directions to the oddly located office, she was kind and patient. The hygienist Hedi was also amazing! This place is terrible!!! Do NOT pick this dentist. Dr. Belt is no longer at the practice. I made an appointment but never even saw the new dentist. He had felt it was more important to go to the bank and buy lunch for the hygienist. The hygienist didn't take a full set of x-rays because she was 'running late and wanted lunch'. The x-ray she did take showed I have a small cavity. She said I just needed to brush really well and it would go away. The hygienist is the best I’ve had
I'm a new patient at Virginia Modern Dentistry and yesterday was my first visit. From the minute I arrived I felt comfortable. I'm a disabled veteran and didn't have my service dog with me and she's usually with me 24/7. Feeling comfortable and having trust are crucial for someone with my neurodivergence.
