I'm not quite sure when I met Dr. Wong, but I know it was over 15 years ago. Regardless of when we met I was blessed and lucky to have met this incredible physician. Dr. Wong has not only provided care but has also given me a deeper understanding of medicine. Appointments and new patients, welcome! Healthy or ill, I've done my best to send everyone I care about her way. Every one of her fellow patients I’ve met cannot say her name without a great big smile. Just mention of her helps us rise above, for just a moment, any mala... read more
I have been a patient of Dr. Wong's for quite a few years now. She is very personable (sometimes a bit too animated even). She spends time with her patients so you don't feel rushed. She explains everything very well and is not a dogmatic type person. She is very good about getting back to you on the healthcare portal if you have a question. Over all an excellent primary care physician. What I don't understand is why she keeps her office staff. I've read other reviews here and have experienced the same things myself. Her rec... read more
Prompt, and extraordinarily caring! She truly goes above and beyond!
Dr. Wong was recommed to me by 3 people. Everything about her is excellent. She is personable, thorough, takes her time to explain things and is interested in your well being, without lecturing. However, it can be quite frustrating to get the office to follow up on calls, and they are not as personable as other medical staffs seemto bem. I would like to say, however that Ms. Berry is a huge asset to Dr. Wong, who is excellent in putting you at ease when drawing blood, etc.
Dr. Wong herself is a good doctor, however her front desk staff is despicable. If you want an appt call at least a month in advance, because no matter how many voicemails you leave it will take between 1 and 2 weeks to get a call back. I called multiple times and left three voicemails for what I decided was the last time I attempted to be seen at her office. I called a different physicians office and as a NEW patient was SEEN before I even got a call back from Wong's office. Ridiculous.
There are many things about Dr. Wong that I like. She's down to earth. She listens to her patient and their concerns. She advises rather than lectures. What's made the biggest difference, for me, is that I feel like she has my interests at heart when I'm going through a tough medical situation. She refers me to specialists when the situation needs more specific experience, but I'll always turn to her when I need to get started on an everyday problem, health check or if I need a second opinion.
Dr. Wendy Wong, MD has a 3.9 star rating with 40 reviews.
