As a new patient, I found Dr. Hellstrom a very thorough Urologist. He's abreast of the latest approved treatments and certainly offered such to me. He shoots straight from the hip with his no none sense approach to treatment. If you want the truth in treatment, I strongly urge this guy. I am seeing him AGAIN!
If I could give this doctor zero stars I would. See anyone else except this doctor.
Mr. Hellstrom came across in my opinion as very rude and unprofessional and irresponsible, and he could be overheard talking derogatorily about a patient to another staff member who appeared to be a doctor that he was teaching. In my opinion he is not trust worthy or caring and it is very unfortunate that such a person would be entrusted with so much responsibility and entrusted with teaching young doctors.
Dr. Hellstrom is not a beat around the bush type. He's direct and straight to the point. He comes with solution not sympathy. He may come off a little harsh to some. But I cannot discredit his experience.
