He ruined my life with his prolotherapy because he insisted on doing too much at one time. (Back & Knee) He did something incorrect with my back injections. I now have more severe back issues I never had and spent 7 months in PT. Then went to Orthopedic Surgeon for injections.
After wrist surgery back in 2018, I was left with nothing but pain and issues. Doctor after doctor explained the only way to treat my "SLAC wrist" was to have a PRC, or four corner fusion. All of which involve the salvage of the wrist bones and fusing the wrist. At 20 Years of age I found this unbelieveable, and was forced to stop all physical activities because of the pain. Time management does not exist. Expect to wait beyond your appointment. I found the wait irritating but well worth the time. Nursing and front office staff are very competent & pleasant. Dr. Grote is somewhat unconventional but VERY thorough. He has a terrific demeanor & is a great diagnostician. He asks many questions, takes copious notes and listens to everything you have to say. As someone who has had shoulder and arm problems since high school due to softball and horse back riding. I put off treatment for a long time. I regretted not getting treatment when I became pain free for the first time in five years. I was at the point where holding my infant nephews was extremely painful and doing normal every day tasks caused me pain to the point where I had to stop. As someone who now works in the medical profession and understands what he does it is amazing.
