You guys, the amount of people that want doctors to be personable is insane. Do you want you doctor to be your best friend or someone who performs a life saving surgery with complete competence? People have such the wrong idea of healthcare. This doctor did an incredible job for me and my spider veins! I would highly recommend him! He did a life saving surgery on a family member and they are saved because of him.
Dr. Irfan tried to use scare-tactics and lies pressure my family into authorizing an unnecessary and dangerous vascular surgery (on a Saturday) for my father who has dementia and AFIB. My father is on blood-thinners and is a high stroke risk- he also has poor kidney function. Irfan claimed not to feel a pulse in the affected area, which was the justification for the surgery - the pulse had been verified by both a nurse and doctor each day (including that day) for several days. Not personable. Did surgery on a family member, even though it was a minor surgery, he never came to the surgery waiting room to talk to us afterwards. Post surgery appointment, entered the exam without a greeting, a how are you feeling, or a do you gave any questions. May be a good doctor but he needs bedside manor training.
