Dr. Goyal was recommended by my wise primary doctor. After a couple visits with Dr. Goyal it's understandable he is expert in his field - he listens carefully and practices with love of medicine and helping patients, instead of a focus of maximizing income or marketing an ego.
My 89 yr old mother began to have issues with suspected mini strokes. Dr. Goyal diagnosed her with Aortic Stenosis and referred to Dr. Korver for a valve replacement. Mom had her successful open heart surgery within two weeks at the old Santa Rosa Memorial, and had an uneventful recovery. She just celebrated her 96th birthday and you will not find a more caring, and better cardiologist than Dr. Goyal. She was disappointed that he left Santa Rosa, but Santa Barbara has gained a great doctor!
Dr Goyal's surgery to implant a pacemaker went well.However, he finally gave up on trying to suppress the PVCs that appeared after the surgery. His recommendation that I go to LA or Palo Alto for other views was impractical. Nice man. not as helpful as he could have been.
If every doctor was just half as compassionate and attentive as Dr Goyal- the world would be a much healthier and happier place. He is by far the best doctor I’ve ever seen and I feel very fortunate every time I see him.
Dr. Goyal is very knowledgeable, and listened to me and my wife (she participated in appointment). I am highly comfortable that he has my best interests in mind, and that he is fully aware of latest treatment options.
After being diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation Dr Goyal was recommended by Dr Andrew Binder. Boy am I glad to have been given the recommendation. Dr Goyal is as professional and current with the state of the art that I could ever hope for. He listened to my concerns and my preference to be aggressive but reasonable with treatment. With his combination of prescriptions and cardioversion(sp)(stop and restart heart) I am now in sinus rhythm and have been for many months.
