Very disappointing. My optometrist recommended that's why drove so far to see her . I literally drive 100 km one way for 3 minutes with actual specialist. She is very kind I give you that . But I don't think even she check the referal notes . Immediately she said dry ey and gave me a prescription which I can buy from chemist for same price with or without a prescription. After waiting for 2 hours, the diagnosis of my eye problem was wrong and she prescribed me the wrong medicine. Today, due to unbearable pain, I had to call their office and see the doctor. Unfortunately, the secretary of their office, a bitter person, hung up on me. Because my eye was in so much pain, I went to another doctor in Noble Park and had to pay the bill again. The diagnosis of this private doctor was wrong and the medicine that was prescribed to me made my eye condition worse.
The receptionist is disrespectful and rude. No any respect to customers when call to book an appointments.
Dr Vinithra Kumar is such a lovely, kind & compassionate doctor and very knowledgeable & professional. And the staff at South Eastern Eye Surgery Wantirna South are all so nice. It's such a wonderful clinic.
