Dr. DeOrchis is one of the most intelligent doctors I have ever come across. He knows everything and explains it in a way a patient can understand. He is very kind, professional and caring and spends his time with you. Dr. DeOrchis truly is an all around amazing physician!
I had a serious bike accident and was told I had a previous stroke. dr Deorchis was so concerned he and his office arranged a same day MRI. He stayed late to make sure I was ok. It turned out I had no issues, but he gave up his own time to make sure I had no issues. Truly compassionate and unbelievably smart. Highly recommend.
Dr. DeOrchis is a Long Island treasure. He is all around excellent. As a physician he is empathic, respectful, patient, reassuring, thorough in making sure the patient fully understands the entirety regarding procedure and results. He had treated me at the hospital and as scared I was for the tests and procedures, he explained and gave me confidence that it was necessary to have the procedure done And on my visits and tests i was scheduled. Unfortunately, i never got to meet Dr. DeOrchis who I hear is a fabulous, nice man, & great doctor. After waiting for 2 hours in his office and there were still another appointment before me, I decided to leave. Best part is they had already taken my copay and were not able to credit my credit card.& i have to wait for a check to be sent. I found the office staff to be rude.
He is a very caring and very thorough doctor. I have already recommended him to all my friends and family if they have to see a neurologist. He is the best!
Dr DeOrchis is an excellent diagnostician. He has empathy towards his patients. Always follows through and is truly concerned with his patients well-being! He spends as much time as needed with his patient and fully explains everything clearly to you! It is extremely refreshing to be in the care of a genuine human being and an excellent neurologist! I highly recommend him to all in need of a neurologist!
