I strongly urge families to think carefully before admitting a loved one to this facility. Based on our experience, it felt like the focus was more on keeping patients in treatment than on providing individualized care to claim and drain insurance coverage. My daughter was admitted on a Baker Act and prior to the 72 hour hold, she was told that if she signed in voluntarily, she would be able to request her release the following day. After she signed the paperwork, we were informed that she would not be released, because th... read more

This is the last place you want to go to. The staff is horrible and treat you like nothing. The don’t bother getting you the proper meds and the food is worse than prison food. If you care about the person do not bring them here.

This place is absolutely horrible! The staff isn’t worth a damn. They won’t relay your message. They are all money hungry to keep the patient there. They do not give the patient the meds that they need. They could care less. If you have another option please go there. Do not go to this place under any circumstances!

While I learned some good techniques they allow in crazy people to the point I was scared and wouldn’t go back for fear of what could happen next. They also took me off an anti anxiety medication I had been on for 32 years. No proper tapering off. Cold hard cold turkey. Very dangerous and unethical. Had severe life threatening reactions to prescribed medication I was given and they wouldn’t help. BEWARE

No stars. They breach their duty if care. They allow violent patients into the cafeteria where they punch anither patient in the eye while shexwas just standing in line. They refuse to call the police. Her eye us permanently damaged. They don't care. They do care about their cellphones they are always on them; either when a male patient batters a female patient just standing in line.

Besides my past therapist, Ms. Paige, who I later changed from, I felt like she chose to ignore me and hardly ever acknowledged my existence. A lot of the time, I felt as if she was acting like a bully. Even so, she was nice to some of the kids and did fun things for us when she felt we deserved it. The techs were awesome. Sometimes they weren't, at least for me. Except for one: Mr. Austine. He always seemed to understand, and if he didn't, he would genuinely try to. He needs to be promoted. PLEASE PROMOTE HIM! Ms. Alana a... read more

No stars. The techs and nurses are on their cellphones 24/ 7 there. They only people who work are those in the cafeteria. They don't care. They put a woman on namenda, an alzheimers medication on the street. They didnt call her family or her insurance company; but they billed her insurance company 1000 a day fir her to watch movies and smoke. Not remarkable people, not remarkable care. They don't care.

I am not a fan of Meridell treatment. There was ether a fight elopement or a huge argument every day. I was in meridell from end of January 2026 to end of March. and in February I got into a fight with a bunch of girls on my unit and they put me and a "hold" first when I barely did anything. on the other hand, I had some super amazing staff on Ranch House. some of them would just give you support and others would not even recognize that.

I had a Colonoscopy in May,2025. 2-3 months before the appointment I was beginning to feel quite the abdominal distress. I already had Colonoscopy scheduled and figured they would find anything that was wrong. After the Colonoscopy at the follow up appt they said 9 polyp's removed, 6 benign and 3 abnormal cells. I tried to explain my body isn't telling me it's time to take a BM. No pain, no usual feeling we all normally get. I can go 5 to 10 days without a BM. The only thing I know to do is to drink Prune Juice as it's the o... read more
