Today was our first visit with Dr. Victor Machicao, who came highly recommended, and I can absolutely see why. Both Dr. Machicao and the GI fellow, Dr. B., were excellent. Dr. B. took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and when Dr. Machicao came in, he was equally kind, knowledgeable, and never made us feel rushed. We left feeling confident in the care plan. UPDATE: I TAKE BACK WHAT I SAID. (06/2024) This Dr. has absolutely no recollection of him mentioning tremors to me in Aug 2023, he has no recollection of him telling me that if I get a third positive, I would get an FMT. My kidneys have been bleeding on an off since December, his PA completely wrote me off in January, until the third positive came in April. This Doctor is the worst too he never care about my father health, he was treating my father for cirrhosis of the liver for the last 5 years. He and his staff will always tell my mom oh your husband doesn’t meet the criteria for a transplant due that he’s too skinny and he’s diabetic is out of control. Like why you cannot control a diabetic patient when you have him on the OR like I work in the medical field and we do that for patients specially if the patient really need the transplant.
