I wanted to give huge thank yous and appreciation to Dr Figueroa and the office staff. Several years ago my 72 year old mother started to bleed, which we knew right away to get her to an OBGYN. I called and the office got her in right away. She had an exam and a biopsy. We were told very promptly that the biopsy was malignant. And the doctor referred us to an oncologist right away. I agree with all the other reviews, Dr. Figueroa is not a doctor you want. She was extremely rude to me as soon as I had an encounter with her, as well judge-mental due to me being a teen mom. She proceeded to ask me “so what’s your story” in the rudest tone which I was genuinely confused by that because I am here to give birth? Any time I asked a question she looked at me as if I was stupid. No mother should go through this while giving birth especially for the first time, i’m so glad Dr. Sierra delivered my baby instead. My birthing experience was 100% traumatic due to this Dr who happened to be on call during my spontaneous induction date. She broke my water around 5pm and didn’t come back to check on me until 8:17pm, birthing team was also very negligent when i stated i felt a lot of pressure and felt like i had to use the bathroom, my son came out purple and unable to breathe when he was born (thankfully he is alive and well) After requesting delayed cord clamping and many other things I listed in my birth plan she denied all of my reques... read more
