Hi Kate, sorry for your experience but I think you are mistaken. My father had retired the year before your post. He also worked whilst having cancer treatment in his last 5 years so as to ensure that the clinic could remain open due to doctor shortages and covid as he wanted his patients and local residents to have access to bulk billing medical care in the area, this is why he would work late hours in the morning. Dr Akkireddi hasn’t turned up to work yet (45 minutes late at 12:45pm) and when I asked reception if it was a common occurrence, they said “for 20 years he’s always late and comes in when he comes in”. Reception also said “we’ve offered to buy him an alarm clock”. Absolutely appalling behaviour. Don’t depend on this doctor for anything. Reception is great on the other hand.
