This man has absolutely NO IDEA of the sanctity of a doctor-patient relationship. Not only did he go out of his way to upset me as his patient's wife, I felt like 'how dare I be there'. But, watching the way he dealt with my husband, who was his patient left me feeling like he had had his dignity ignored. and that is putting it mildly. Stay away from this man, he has no clue as to how to treat a man who is suffering from Dementia. STAY AWAY.

I went to this Dr. yesterdayZERO, ZERO, ZERO communication as to pain involved in procedures and zapped me with electricity that hurt me like I have NEVER NEVER NEVER been hurt before. I have spent 5 years if my life in prison and have raced and crashed professional motocross and have NEVER experienced the pain this man administered to me. When he shocked me my body jumped off the table and he stopped the test because HE HURT ME

I saw Dr Rao several times for neuropathy issues. He had to be convinced through several visits to order any testing whatsoever despite several of my other doctors stating I needing further evaluation as my symptoms were not improving. After the nerve conduction study he stated everything came back normal and the issue was most likely autoimmune. He however, would not post my study results nor send them to other doctors when requested. When he was told by a rheumatologist that the issue was not autoimmune and needed further ... read more

I saw Dr. Rau 2 times and was not impressed with him. The first time he said I was having seizures and put me on Keppra 500 mg twice a day. I went back 6 months later. He ask if I had gained weight, i said yes. After starting taking Keppra I gained 10 lbs the first month. He said it doesn’t cause weight gain. He got up walked out of the room. I got up and ask when I needed to come back, he said if you have another seizure take another pill. I ask again when I should come back, he threw up his hands and said come back in a ye... read more

Today I lived the most appalling experience in a healthcare setting. Dr. Rao’s behavior undermines his professional skills and he should know that his position does not grant a condescending, rude, demeaning, and misogynistic behavior. I do not like to complain or write negative reviews, but this experience deserves to be publicized so that that nobody will go through the same experience ever again. I accompanied my mother as a caretaker and interpreter for a nerve conduction test. After waiting almost two hours while the dr... read more

Similar to a review on here from 2017, he belittled my wife (a patient) about her weight when it shouldn’t have played a huge factor in her care. He insisted on my wife being non compliant with her medications, when she had a very detailed list of what she had tried, dates, why stopped, etc. very unprofessional and rude. I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy.

Dr. Rao has some of the worst bedside mannor I have ever seen. My wife need to see him. She was told that she need to loose weight multiple times during the first visit and a bunch of test were ordered. Went for second visit and was told 7more times that she needed to loose weight, after she had lost 10 pounds between visits. When my wife asked him when he wanted to see her again he said when you loose more wait. When he was confronted about harping on her he got mad and told her to find a new dr

He took time to explain how different strokes affect your brain even drawing pictures to explain. He had a very positive attitude and was very encouraging.
