I don't question Dr. Lucarella's competence as a doctor, she's just too busy to get an appointment when needed. If you have open heart surgery with many complications it's not reasonable to have to wait 3 months for an answer if you have a question. And you can forget about the staff. They are the most incompetent medical personnel I have ever had to work with.
Competent and caring.
I’m new to Florida, of course the usual paperwork was done. But when I went for my first visit, Dr. Lucarella knew everything about me. It was VERY apparent that she had read my entire records from my prior heart Dr. She knew my name, my history and was THE most thorough Dr I’ve ever been to. Very personable and caring.
She doesn’t care to get to know the patient and the patient’s medical history before she tries to diagnose a problem that isn’t in her field.
