Dr. Val Prokurat, MD of NJ Advanced Surgical Solutions was fantastic! He is a talented surgeon that used the daVinci Robotic Surgery System to repair my hernia. He explained everything about the surgery, was compassionate, and his follow-up was great. Highly recommend.
Dr. Val Prokurat fixed a high hurtle hernia on my mom who is 91. He saved her life. He’s awesome. He’s the best.

I had hernia surgery performed by Dr Prokurat last Thursday, 9/5/19. He did a phenomenal job with the surgery. I was very impressed that he called my mother immediately after the surgery to give her an update. In addition, Dr Prokurat called the nurses station twice in the hours after the surgery to check up on me. He not only is a top notch surgeon, but he is very smart, informative, and he genuinely cares about you as a patient. I give him 5 stars, and would highly recommend him if you are in need of hernia surgery.
